About Derby
Derby Connecticut is the smallest city in the state. For voting purposes it is divided up into three sections called wards.
In odd years ('07, '09...) you will be voting for 3 Aldermen who live in your ward. All other positions are elected city-wide. That means it doesn't matter what ward the candidates live in - you'll be able to vote for whoever you want. The other positions on the ballot in odd years, besides the Aldermen, are Mayor, Treasurer, Constable, Board of Apportionment and Taxation, and Board of Education.
To find out which ward you are in and where you will vote, find the street you live on below.
